March to the Guild spaceships
Disguised as Giedi Prime rams
The Emperor's words keep our minds fixed
And the Duke's blood will flow on the sands
Terror machine
We born to kill
We will conquer this god forsaken land
But first, the falcon goes to the ram
But first, the falcon goes to the ram
And to the worm his concubine and his son
Blast those heretics above the sand
Those who stole so many lives of ours
Powered by the will of the desert rat
And the knife child who threatens our powers
We fear no death,
We feel no emotion,
Join the march of the Sardaukar
Our vengeance is in motion
We shall not survive
Victory or Death!!!
If we can´t kill the rat
We shall kill ourselves instead
We were once conquerors
But our legacy fell too soon
Buried in this old spiced planet
Arrakis, also called Dune

Notes: I think this poem is not to everyone. You need to understand a lot about Frank Herbert's Dune. You may find it interesting even if you don't know the novel but all the magic of the poem is to understand those little details or hidden interpretations behind. This is also my first experience creating a poem related to a novel :)
Disclaimer: All names mentioned and related to Dune belong to Frank Herbert and his legacy, and were not created by me. I'll gain no money with this poem :)
Pois, bem me parecia que isto falava de algo que eu não conhecia xD
ResponderEliminarmesmo assim está giro. Se bem que já sabes que não é bem o meu estilo :)

Very moving. I have been a fan of Dune for a long time, and this poem-song really hit the right chord for me.
